Non-Compete Clause


An employer requires, or attempts to require, its employees to agree to a non-compete clause, prohibiting them from working for other organizations in the same industry for a period of time following employment with that organization.

Such clauses are generally unenforceable in Europe and California. However, this violation type is applicable even if such clauses are unenforceable.
